About Carpet Cleaning Methods

With truck mounted deep steam cleaning the carpet cleaning machine is powered by the Vans Engine and remains in the truck throughout the entire cleaning process. A pair of floor & wall safe hoses (1 vaccum & 1 steam) are carefully routed through the structure using corner guards to protect wall and trim finishes. Both of these hoses are attached to a steam cleaning wand which has a 12 inch wide x 3/16" vacuum slot, and a pair of steam jets. As the steam wand is pulled accross the carpet toward the cleaning technician the steam jets seperate contaminates from the carpet fibers and the dirt/water slurry is quickly picked up by the powerful vacuum slot located next to the steam jets. This process is desinged to clean deep down into the carpet fiber "without" over wetting or penetrating the carpet "Backing", which can prevent thorough extraction of the slurry & extending drying time which can cause issues in some cases. This is the method not only recommended by all the major carpet manufactures, But "Required" to maintain the Warranty.

Encapsulation carpet cleaning is also known as: Encap, Low Moisture or Bonnet Carpet Cleaning This processes is typically used for maintenance and commercial carpet cleaning. This method is more "topical" and great for extremely quick completion and dry time. Since this is "not" a "deep" cleaning it is usually performed on a regular maintenance schedule of monthly or quarterly.

Our CRB carpet cleaning machine is a specialized mechanical carpet cleaner. Two cyclinrical brushes rotate toward eachother lifting the carpet pile vertically which pulls deeply embedded dirt & pet hair to the carpet surface to be collected by our truck-mounted steam cleaner.

Walk Through:

We always begin by trying to learn a little bit about any In-Direct needs or preferences you may have so we can try and limit any disruption to your Work and/or Household Schedules and function. Considerations Often Include: Parking Preferences for planned departures, Toddler Nap Times, Work Calls & Zoom Meetings,Etc.

We will also ask about any specific concerns you may have about the carpet cleaning process, specific carpet stains or odors to make sure we have a solution that your satisfied with.

If you scheduled any Large Spaces like Basements or Lofts to be cleaned we will take a look and make sure sizes & costs are all agreed upon. We can also Add/Subtract any other areas on the work-order right there on the spot with you.

Before we get started we will do a quick walk-through to assess hose lengths, tools, and special carpet stain spotters that may be needed. We will also be looking for anything we have concern about so we can cover options and clairify expectations with you to.

Room Contents: We carefully move small and light furniture such as coffee tables, end tables, and lamps to ensure a clear working area before cleaning.

If you have fragile items like picture frames, vases, and collectables on any furniture, please stow them before we arrive to ensure their safety.

Next-Up.."Spotting": We pre-treat Small stains with specialized spot and stain removers, applied using a spray bottle, followed by light agitation to lift it into suspension for extraction.

Note: We include Spotting for "most" normaly found types of stains, in moderation. If you have multitudes of spots/stains a more efficent technique for covering larger areas may be required and could possibly encur additional costs. Well always inspect & advise on our initial Walk-Through :)
